A Life full of Adventure
Welcome to a website dedicated to my favourite hobby: Adventure (video)games!
The very first adventure game I played was The Black Cauldron and King's Quest, not sure which one came first, but one thing I do know is that I was enthralled. Not just by the graphics, but the fact you could control the character and journey with him on his adventurous quest. Till this day, thirty-five years later, my passion is at an all time high as nostalgia has kicked in big time. This picture shows some of the games I once had in my collection, so many great memories, my favourites being the adventures from Dreamcatcher, Infogrames and the Myst series, although the Sierra 3rd person games will always have a special place in my heart.
As you can see from the Infinite Adventures image above, Martian Gothic Unification is one of my favourite games. Please visit the Spotlight page for more details on this highly underrated game. The Dig is also there!

Over the years I not only played a lot, I also collected a lot. But space ran out and my travel bug woke up, so eventually I had to sell everything. It gave me a small income, so I decided to keep travelling and selling.
There are always new games available, why not check what's On offer.

Over the years I stored all the images of the games I sold and the idea began to grow to create a database. The DB Project is a project (duh!) I have been working on and off for the last ten years. It deals with the preservation, archiving and promotion of (mostly) adventure games. As of 2018, actual programming has been done with a first working prototype to be shared soon.

Then there is a Silent Hill Blog, which tells you all about my journey into archiving magazine material from Silent Hill games.
