PC
The Personal Computer is the dominant platform considering the amount of games released, so here you can either browse the separate release category or check the Full list to see them all.
Big Boxes
Clamshell, one-piece, trapezoid, glow in the dark, sealed, with or without flap, big or small, standard, Collector's Edition or budget release, no big box is excluded from this category. Title displays platform, as well as the language (standard English or stated otherwise). Note that the box content is mostly complete, it might miss the registration card as that often was used (posted to the developer/publisher by the previous owner)

Small Boxes
Most smaller boxes were produced in the early 2000's and originate from the States. They were usually one-piece glossy boxes, embossed with one or more flaps displaying the artwork or images from the game. In Europe smaller boxes were mostly elaborate DVD cases in a sleeve (see below). Some of these smaller boxes also have a Big Box counterpart (like the one displayed here), which will be listed in its specific category.

DVD Cases
Not all games were fortunate enough to receive a box treatment, a plastic keep case was all they got. Having said that, some of my most memorable games came in a DVD style box, like Fahrenheit here (although they did put a nice sleeve around it for the Limited Edition). Manuals were usually physically present or came on the disc in PDF. Newer games required a Product Key to work or a Steam key to download the game (even if you had the discs), which means you can't share the game with anybody else.

Jewel Cases
Moving further down the production line we encounter the jewel cased games. Companies already found out that making a big box was too expensive and took too much space in the store, so after the Small Boxes, DVD cases and Jewel Case size boxes finally came the jewel case, later not even having a plastic case anymore, but a simple sleeve. We all know what happened after that. Ive also added the JC's of games that have lost their big box (more on that at Orphanage).
